I am currently pursuing post-doctoral research at the University of Oxford, working on topics in both philosophy of mind and action, and 20th century European philosophy. I have completed my DPhil in philosophy last year at the same institution under the supervision of Professors Bill Child and Stephen Mulhall. Fundamentally, I am interested in what makes us agents. I am currently thinking about the nature of our agency as it relates to our responsiveness to meanings and our engagement with technology. Through my work, I am keen to show the continuing relevance on these issues of a number of 20th century philosophers (most notably Maurice Merleau-Ponty, Iris Murdoch, and Ludwig Wittgenstein). |
